When I got Naomi’s enquiry for a Cake Smash I was so excited, I’ve only seen a few photos online of adults having Cake Smashes and honestly didn’t expect to ever get to do one! Naomi wanted a special way to celebrate her 40th Birthday and she wanted to do an adult Cake Smash!
Unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone her session, but I think it probably worked out for the best because her rescheduled photoshoot fell on her wedding anniversary weekend. Naomi and her husband had plans to go away for the weekend and before they were due to go they came to visit me for her Cake Smash Photoshoot. As all my Cake Smash Photoshoots include portraits before the cake smash itself it only seemed right to get some couple photos of Naomi and her husband in celebration of their wedding anniversary. They look incredible don’t they? Such a gorgeous couple.
As you can imagine a children’s Cake Smash is slightly different to an adult’s Cake Smash, Naomi took a lot more direction and there was literally no mess in sight! Made it a much easier clean up, which was perfect for me!
We got some gorgeous photos and it was a great way to celebrate her birthday and wedding anniversary. Plus she got to leave with a fully intact cake and a bottle of Prosecco , which is always a bonus!
